Temu Wishlist Button Missing or Not Working
The Temu wishlist button moves, hides and sometimes does nothing at all, and it differs between the app and the website. What to try in order, and how to save the item without relying on the button.

If you have the Temu wishlist button missing, save the product URL before troubleshooting. That preserves the item while you check whether the problem follows your account, one product, or the app itself.
A missing heart and a heart that refuses to save need different tests. The first can reflect the interface you have; the second can involve a session or loading problem. Neither is a reason to keep tapping Add to cart until your basket becomes a substitute wishlist.
Temu wishlist button missing: check the page first
Open the complete product listing rather than a search tile, promotional panel, or quick preview. Look around the product image and details for a heart or a control labelled Save. If your version provides Wishlist, look for it in the account area; in the app, start with You. Treat these as places to inspect, not a promise that every account has the same layout.
There is no verified universal menu path here that guarantees a wishlist button will appear. A screenshot from another person's account may show a different app version, country storefront, or interface arrangement.
Interface experiments and gradual rollouts are possible explanations for differences, but a missing button does not prove your account is in an A/B test. Updating the app can install a newer client; it cannot force an account-level feature to appear.
If the button is visible, tap it once, wait for a response, then leave and reopen the listing. Repeated tapping can make it harder to tell whether you saved and then immediately unsaved the same item.
Test whether the wishlist problem follows the item
Open a second, ordinary product listing in the same session. If saving works there, return to the original product and check whether it is unavailable or redirects to another listing. If neither product saves, compare the browser and app before changing settings.
Keep the country or region consistent during this test. A shared link may open a different storefront from the one where you found the item. Compare the delivery destination, currency, seller, and available variations. A matching photo does not prove that both pages represent the same purchasable offer.
Do not switch countries just to uncover a heart icon. Even if another storefront shows one, it may not offer the item for delivery to you.
Fix a Temu wishlist button that does not respond
Close and reopen the app, then retry the same listing. Check for an update: on iPhone, open App Store → your profile and review available updates; on Android, open Google Play Store → profile icon → Manage apps & device. Restart your phone if the app remains unresponsive.
Google's Fix an installed Android app that isn't working recommends restarting, updating, and trying app troubleshooting steps such as clearing cache. These address malfunctioning software; they do not establish that Temu offers a wishlist in your particular interface.
On many Android phones, use Settings → Apps → Temu → Storage & cache → Clear cache. Manufacturers vary the wording. Start with cache, not Clear storage or Clear data, which can remove local app data and require signing in again. iPhone does not provide an equivalent universal Clear cache button for every app.
In a browser, reload the page and try another browser with the same account. If that works, temporarily disable a content-blocking extension for Temu and retry. Change one thing at a time. Avoid clearing all browser cookies as your first move: it signs you out of unrelated sites without identifying the cause.
Save Temu products without the wishlist button
A browser bookmark or a note containing the product URL is enough for an immediate fallback. Add a short identifying phrase such as “under-sink rack, narrow version, white.” Copying only the title can fail when several sellers use similar wording.
For a list spanning stores, save the link through the dEssence Chrome extension, Telegram bot, or web app. It has no native iOS or Android app. Open the saved link once to confirm it leads to the intended product, and keep a separate screenshot if the appearance or selected variation matters.
If you want price or stock watching, set it up on that saved thing afterward. Saving does not automatically start watching. Check what the watch actually covers before relying on it for a particular variation or personalized offer.
When a visible button still fails across devices, contact Temu through the app or website's customer support area. Send the product link, device, app version, country, and a screenshot showing the missing or unresponsive control. Describe whether another product works. Ask whether Wishlist is available for your account and platform; a precise availability question is more useful than repeatedly requesting a reset.
