Cyber Monday 2026: the Date, and What to Line Up Before It
Cyber Monday 2026 is Monday, November 30, four days after Thanksgiving (November 26) and three days after Black Friday (November 27). Here is what to line up in the weeks before so you buy the right thing at the right price.

Cyber Monday 2026 falls on Monday, November 30. It is always the Monday after Thanksgiving, which this year is Thursday, November 26, with Black Friday on November 27. The deals usually start well before the Monday itself.
When is Cyber Monday 2026?
Monday, November 30, 2026. Here is the whole stretch, for planning:
| Date | Day |
|---|---|
| Thursday, November 26 | Thanksgiving |
| Friday, November 27 | Black Friday |
| Saturday and Sunday, November 28 and 29 | The weekend between |
| Monday, November 30 | Cyber Monday |
| Early December | Deals taper but do not vanish |
For the Black Friday side, including when each big store usually starts its early sales, see our Black Friday 2026 guide.
How big is Cyber Monday?
It is still the largest online shopping day in the US. According to Adobe's data for 2025, shoppers spent $14.25 billion online on Cyber Monday 2025, up 7.1% from the year before. Black Friday 2025 brought in $11.8 billion online, and the five days from Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday added up to $44.2 billion.
Adobe also tracked where discounts peaked on Cyber Monday 2025: electronics at up to 31% off the listed price, toys 28%, apparel 25%, computers 23% and televisions 22%. It expected deals to linger into the first week of December, with smaller discounts.
Is Cyber Monday better than Black Friday?
It depends on the category, and the gap is smaller than the names suggest. Most stores run the same offer from Thursday to Monday. We compared categories one by one in Cyber Monday vs Black Friday: where the real deals are, so here is just the short version: electronics and toys have recently had the deepest Cyber Monday discounts in Adobe's data.
What to line up before Cyber Monday
The day itself rewards people who decided before it started. With hundreds of offers in your inbox, the only way to know whether a deal is good is to know what you wanted and what it cost before.
- Write the list now. Things you would buy anyway in the next three months, plus gifts. Skip things you would buy only because they are on sale.
- Save the exact product pages. The model, the color, the size. A "similar" item at a discount is a different item.
- Note today's price for each one. Without it, "40% off" means nothing. A crossed-out price is not always what the item sold for last month.
- Decide your price. For each item, the price at which you buy without thinking.
- Watch the price on those items. Set price alerts on the saved pages so the drop comes to you, instead of you checking 15 tabs on Monday morning.
- Know the return window. Holiday return windows often differ from normal ones. Our holiday return policy roundup collects what stores have said so far.
How to tell a real Cyber Monday deal
A deal is real if the price is lower than what the item has sold for recently. The crossed-out number on the page does not prove that. Three quick checks:
- Compare with the price you noted. If you saved it in early November, you know what it cost before the sale.
- Check the exact model. Some sale products are versions made for the event, with a different model number.
- Look at the total. Shipping, tax and a shorter return window can eat a small discount.

Watch the payment, not only the price
Two numbers from Adobe's 2025 report show how people pay on the day. Buy now, pay later hit an all-time high on Cyber Monday 2025, driving $1.03 billion in online spending. And 57.5% of Cyber Monday online sales came through phones. Both make buying fast, which is the point of the day and also the risk.
- Put every split payment in one place. Four small payments on four different cards are easy to lose track of in January.
- Shop from your list, not from notifications. A deal alert on your phone is designed to make you buy something you did not plan.
- Leave the cart for an hour if it is not on the list. If you still want it after lunch, it was probably worth it.
If you are buying gifts, check the shipping date too
A good price on November 30 is only good if the gift arrives in time. Deals in the first week of December can still work, but carriers' last days to ship for December 25 come mid-December. Our holiday shipping deadlines for 2026 list the last day to ship with each carrier.
Let Tracy watch the list
This is the part dEssence was built for. You save each product page to it from Chrome, Telegram, iMessage or the web, and tell Tracy, its assistant, what you would pay. She watches the price on the items you ask about and messages you when it drops, on Free once a day and on Pro every hour. She also keeps the size or color you chose, so you are not guessing at checkout. She does not buy anything; you decide and pay in the store.
