Glassdoor Saved Jobs Disappeared: Where to Find Them

Saved jobs live under your profile, not in search. And a second tap on the ribbon quietly removes one.

Glassdoor Saved Jobs Disappeared: Where to Find Them

A month of saving vacancies can leave you remembering the work more clearly than the job titles. You know there was a role with an interesting project, but returning to a fresh search does not tell you where your saved selection went.

Start with the documented location. The navigation below comes from Glassdoor's Help Center article, updated 7 April 2026. That article explains where saved jobs live, how the ribbon works and where Easy Apply applications appear. It does not establish a retention period or explain what happens to saved entries when vacancies close or are removed.

Where to look when Glassdoor saved jobs disappeared

Check the ribbon before saving again

On desktop, open the Jobs tab, search for a vacancy and click the Ribbon icon to the right of its title. Glassdoor's help article says the ribbon turns green when the job is saved. Clicking that ribbon again removes the job from saved jobs.

In the app, tap the Ribbon icon on a job to save it. Avoid tapping repeatedly while trying to confirm a save. The documented desktop toggle gives you a concrete explanation to investigate: a second click can remove the entry you intended to keep. That is a possible cause, not proof of what happened to your particular shortlist.

If you find a missing vacancy through an old link or a new search, inspect its current saved state before clicking. Then return to the relevant Saved view to check your work.

If your Glassdoor saved jobs still seem missing

Separate what you can verify from what remains unknown. You can check the account, follow the documented navigation and inspect whether a particular listing is saved. The help article we checked does not resolve the behavior of closed or removed vacancies, so an empty section cannot be used to diagnose those cases.

An old link may also fail to open a listing. If that happens, write down the company and role you remember, then look for your own notes, screenshots or application correspondence. Those records may preserve useful details, but they do not demonstrate why an entry is absent from Glassdoor.

Saved jobs and submitted applications have different locations

If you are looking for a role you applied to, check the application area as well. According to the same help article, applications submitted with Easy Apply appear in the Applied section on desktop and the Applied Jobs tab in the app.

Keep the scope of that statement intact: it concerns Easy Apply submissions. Do not treat those areas as a complete record of every application you have made elsewhere. In your own shortlist, record whether you merely saved a role, started an application or submitted it. That distinction makes the next action much clearer.

Include these details in each note:

  • Company and position: copy the names as written, including any team or location detail that distinguishes similar roles.
  • Salary range, if listed: preserve the wording and context. Leave the field blank when the vacancy gives no range.
  • Date recorded: note when you captured the information so an older description does not look newly checked.
  • Original link: retain it as a route back to the source, alongside the details you copied.
  • Why it interests you: add a sentence about the work, working arrangement or requirement that caught your attention.
  • Your next action: write what you intend to do, such as review the requirements or prepare an application.

When comparing opportunities, read the interest sentence first. It helps distinguish two similarly titled jobs without reconstructing your original search. Update the note when you apply, and record any important differences you discover in later conversations.
