Adidas App Not Working? Fixing CONFIRMED Before a Drop

If the adidas or CONFIRMED app is not working, switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data, update the app, restart it, and try adidas.com in a browser. Keep any active draw entry before you reset anything.

Adidas App Not Working? Fixing CONFIRMED Before a Drop

If the Adidas CONFIRMED app is not working before a drop, first establish whether the fault follows your connection, your phone, or the release itself. A quick network test and an app restart are useful. Repeatedly reinstalling while a draw closes can use the time you need to check another authorized route.

These are device troubleshooting steps, not a live outage announcement. The current release screen and the brand’s own announcements determine how that particular launch works.

Adidas app or CONFIRMED: which one is not working?

Adidas runs two apps. The adidas app is for everyday shopping, adiClub benefits and sale alerts. CONFIRMED is for sneaker drops and draws, and it is still a separate app: its App Store listing shows an update in late September 2026. The checks below work for both. To tell an app problem from an adidas problem, open adidas.com in a browser on the same phone: if the site loads and the app does not, the fault sits with the app or your session.

Adidas CONFIRMED app not working: a three-minute check

Start with the error you can actually see. “The app will not open,” “my login fails,” and “the draw entry failed” are different problems. Note the wording, the time, and whether you had already received an entry confirmation.

For a loading problem before you enter, switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data and reopen the app. If it works, the original network may be involved. If both connections fail, that alone does not prove a wider outage; an account or app problem can behave the same way.

Open the official app listing in the App Store or Google Play and check for Update. If one is available and there is time before entry, install it. Close the unresponsive app and reopen it. A phone restart is the next simple step if the app still refuses to load.

Check the brand’s official social accounts for a dated announcement, then try its website in your browser. Other shoppers reporting trouble can support a suspicion, but an old complaint is not evidence that today’s drop is affected.

"Oops, something went wrong" and other adidas error messages

"Internal server error" is the HTTP 500 error, which MDN describes as a generic catch-all: the server hit an unexpected condition and could not complete the request. That one is on adidas's side, and clearing your cache or reinstalling will not fix it. "Oops, something went wrong" says less about the cause, so if it repeats, run the three-minute check above.

Wait a minute and try once more. If the error appears at checkout, look for an order confirmation in your email and in your adidas account before you pay again, so a retry does not turn into two orders. If the app keeps failing while the website works, finish in the browser where the release allows it.

Fix the settings that can trip up drop day

On iPhone, open Settings → General → Date & Time and enable Set Automatically where available. On Android, search Settings for Date & time and check automatic time and time zone. Correct time helps you interpret the release deadline and removes one possible device issue; it does not repair an overloaded service.

For iPhone notifications, use Settings → Notifications → CONFIRMED → Allow Notifications. On Android, open Settings → Apps → CONFIRMED → Notifications. Check whether Focus or Do Not Disturb is silencing alerts. An enabled notification setting is not confirmation that you entered a draw.

Why can't I open the adidas website on my iPhone?

Work through Apple's steps for Safari not loading websites, in this order:

  1. Load the site on cellular data, or on a different Wi-Fi network. If a VPN is on, check it: some websites block content when a VPN is active.
  2. Restart the iPhone.
  3. Clear website data: Settings → Apps → Safari → Clear History and Website Data. This signs you out of sites, so do it well before a drop.
  4. Make sure JavaScript is on: Settings → Apps → Safari → Advanced.
  5. If only adidas.com fails, turn off iCloud Private Relay for a moment and try again.

Before the release, inspect your account’s address and payment details wherever the app permits saving them. Match the delivery country to the release’s eligible market and check the size system on the product page. Prepare for any payment verification your bank requests.

Do not assume saved details remove every checkout step. Some releases use different entry or purchase flows. Read that release’s instructions while there is time, including the closing time, selection process, and any action required after selection. Keep a screenshot of confirmed entry for your own reference.

Catching the drop when CONFIRMED still will not load

Check the brand’s website in a browser for the exact model and colorway. A product page appearing there does not mean the release is purchasable outside CONFIRMED. If it directs you back to the app, treat that as a limit of the release route rather than a browser fault.

For a physical store, call before traveling. Ask about that model, your size, release time, and whether an appointment, draw, or reservation is required. A store stocking the brand is not proof that it will receive this launch.

Resale is a different buying decision. Compare the final delivered price, size, condition, seller protections, and return terms. Set your maximum before looking. A failed app session is a poor reason to accept a price you would have rejected yesterday.

Prepare the next drop outside the app

Create one record per pair: exact model, colorway or product code, size and sizing system, announced date, time zone, entry route, and maximum delivered price. Record where you saw the announcement so you can recheck it if the date changes. Set an advance reminder that leaves time to sign in and review the release. Nike splits things the same way, dated releases on one side and restocks with no schedule on the other; here is when Nike restocks online and which alerts help.

You can save the item yourself through the dEssence Chrome extension, Telegram bot, or web app, then separately set a price, stock, or date watch on that saved item. Saving alone starts no watch. It does not connect to the store account, enter queues, join draws, or buy shoes. Watches are checked on a schedule, daily or hourly, so none of them can catch a drop that sells through in seconds. For the longer wait after a release, this guide to tracking prices and restocks shows which kind of watch fits, including handing it to Tracy.

For launch day, use the official entry route and your advance reminder. Use a saved list and deliberately configured watches to follow the longer waiting period, later availability, or a price you are comfortable paying. Those are useful jobs even when the original draw does not work out. Apparel brands handle the waiting period in their own way: lululemon, for example, has a back in stock alert for a chosen colour and size, covered in this guide to lululemon restocks.

Frequently asked questions

Is the adidas app down today?

Check adidas's official social accounts for a dated post, then open adidas.com in a browser. If other people report the same error at the same time and the site fails too, the problem is on adidas's side. If only your app fails, update and restart it.

Is CONFIRMED part of the adidas app now?

No. CONFIRMED is still its own app in the App Store and Google Play, used for drops and draws. The main adidas app handles regular shopping and adiClub.

What does "something went wrong, please try again later" mean on adidas?

It means your request did not go through, without saying why. Wait a minute, retry once, and check for an order confirmation before you pay again. If it keeps happening, run the three-minute check above.
