Nike Wishlist and Restock Alerts: How to Get Notified First
Nike will tell you a shoe is back, but not that your size is back, and the email reaches everyone at once. How Favourites and SNKRS alerts really work, and what to set up so a restock is not a lottery.
A useful Nike restock alert must lead you to the right shoe, colorway, and size. Adding a pair to Favorites helps you return to it, but it does not establish that a notification will arrive when your size comes back.
Use Nike's release notifications for scheduled launches, check ordinary product availability separately, and keep the exact pair recorded. You can reduce avoidable delays, but no notification setting guarantees that you will hear first or secure a pair.
What a Nike restock alert actually tells you
Nike's When Will My Size Be Available Again? says there is no set restocking schedule and recommends checking availability again. That makes a fixed “Nike always restocks on Tuesday” routine unreliable.
A release notification can tell you a shoe is launching without promising that your size is available when you open it. Unless an alert explicitly identifies your selected size, treat it as a model or release-level signal. Do not assume that tapping a heart subscribed you to size-specific stock updates.
An email is also not a reservation or a place in a queue. Other shoppers may receive the same announcement, while delivery and the time people open it vary. Avoid the stronger claim that every message reaches everyone simultaneously; what matters is that yours gives you no exclusive claim on inventory.
Before changing settings, identify the event you care about: a scheduled new release, an unscheduled return of an existing pair, or a price reduction on a shoe already in stock.
Set up Nike and SNKRS release notifications
Nike's newest sneaker releases guide directs shoppers to the SNKRS Feed and Upcoming tab, with Notify me for releases of interest. It also explains that launches can happen in SNKRS, the Nike App, Nike.com, or a combination. In the Nike App, check Shop → Drops.
Start with the release page for the correct colorway. Read its date, local time, and entry instructions, then activate Notify me if offered. Do this in the platform hosting that release rather than assuming a favorite saved elsewhere creates the same reminder.
For a scheduled release you particularly want, add a personal calendar reminder too. Give yourself enough time to sign in and read the release instructions before the stated opening time.
Make your Nike restock alert specific to the size
Open the product page and select the intended colorway. Record the style code, size system, and size: for example, “US men's 9,” rather than simply “9.” Women's, men's, youth, UK, and EU labels are not interchangeable. Confirm which country storefront you are using.
Copy the URL, then reopen it in another tab. Does it retain your colorway and size, or reset to a default? A link that forgets the selection needs an accompanying note. This is especially important when several variants share one page.
Save the product through the dEssence Chrome extension, Telegram bot, or web app, then separately set up stock watching on the saved thing. Check the available watch configuration before relying on it: saving a size in your notes does not prove that the stock checker can inspect that size.
If the setup cannot identify the selected variant, treat its alert as a reason to inspect the size grid manually. Do not present it to yourself as a size-specific notification. Apply the same test to any other monitoring tool.
Keep a useful shortlist and act on the right alert
Choose two or three alternatives you would actually wear. Record the same details for each: colorway, style code, size, acceptable price, and product link. An alternative in stock can be more useful than another month of checking a pair you only slightly prefer.

Keep your account details ready, but let the product page—not the excitement of the notification—determine whether the pair is actually available.
