Samsung Notes Will Not Sync: Finding Your Notes Across Devices
Your notes are on the phone and missing everywhere else. Samsung moved the sync, and here is where it went.
Samsung Notes not syncing can mean either that your phone and tablet disagree or that notes stopped appearing through Microsoft OneNote on your computer. Start by separating those problems. A missing connection needs a different response from a connection that still exists but has stalled.

Open an important note on the device where you can still see it. Read the actual contents, including handwriting and attachments, rather than relying on its title in a list. Write down which device holds the complete version and which device is missing it.
If the missing destination is OneNote, Samsung's support page explains the discontinued connection. Repeatedly signing in or reinstalling software cannot restore a feature that is no longer offered. Switching to Samsung Cloud also does not mean the same notes will start appearing in OneNote again.
If the destination is another device using Samsung Notes, work through the cloud setting and basic checks below. Keep the original device available while you test. A note visible on your phone is useful evidence; avoid changing that working copy while investigating the missing one.

The following are ordinary troubleshooting checks, not additional instructions from Samsung's support page. Confirm that both devices use the same Samsung account. Compare the full account identifier carefully, especially if you have separate personal and work accounts or recently replaced a device.
Check that each device has a working internet connection by opening something new online. An old page that remains visible does not prove the connection works. Keep the devices connected during the test, and avoid making several changes at once; otherwise you cannot tell which change helped.
Check whether the app is up to date using the update method you normally use. If you previously excluded a folder yourself, check whether the missing note lives there. Do not assume an exclusion exists or hunt for an undocumented switch: the point is to revisit choices you remember making.
Getting Samsung Notes onto a computer
For a computer that previously showed notes through OneNote, treat the old route as closed. Decide what you need on the computer: editable text, a readable page of handwriting, an attachment, or all of those. The right transfer depends on the content, not just the note's name.
Use an export option available in your installed app, if suitable, or copy the important material manually into somewhere accessible on that computer. Export controls and available formats can differ, so this guide does not promise a particular button or format. Try a small transfer before moving a large collection.
Open the result on the computer and inspect the parts that matter. Check whether handwritten pages remain legible, whether typed paragraphs are complete, and whether attachments open. A file that exists but cannot be read on the destination has not solved the practical problem.
Give the transferred copy a useful title, such as “Kitchen measurements for cabinet order,” and add when you copied it. Choose which version you will update from now on. If both copies keep changing independently, you have created a new disagreement even though the transfer itself worked.
Why notes spread across devices
A quick thought begins on a phone, a longer draft grows on a tablet, and the final decision happens at a desk. Each device feels like the natural place at that moment. The confusion arrives later, when you remember the subject but forget which copy became the current one.
Choose a home for information you expect to retrieve across devices. Keep working sketches wherever they are comfortable, then deliberately move the useful result into that home. Include a sentence about why it matters: “Measurements before ordering the shelves” is easier to recognize than an unexplained screenshot.
