eBay Saved Searches Stopped Emailing You: What to Do
Saved search emails stop for four reasons, and only one of them is eBay's fault. Notification settings, the saved-search limit, spam filtering and a query too broad to trigger anything.

If your eBay saved searches emails are not working, check the search's own email switch before changing your whole account. A search can remain saved while its email alerts are switched off. Then check the account receiving the messages, your communication preferences, and the query itself.
Pick one affected search as your test case. Write down its keywords, filters, and the date of the last email you received. Changing one search at a time gives you a clearer diagnosis than deleting your whole collection and starting again.
eBay's Push Notifications help page includes an Email notifications section. It directs users to Communication preferences and recommends checking junk mail when notifications do not arrive. The page does not promise that every new listing produces an immediate individual email.
When eBay saved searches emails still are not working
Open the affected search and examine what it actually returns. Start with a brand and model, such as “Sony WH-1000XM5,” rather than “headphones.” Add only essential filters: condition, buying format, item location, and a realistic price range. Check the total with shipping before deciding whether a listing meets your budget.
A broad query makes matching items harder to assess; it is not a documented explanation for eBay silently disabling email. An overly restrictive query, meanwhile, may have no new matches. Remove filters one at a time and compare the results. If an exact phrase returns nothing, try the model number without extra descriptive words.
Use Sort → Time: newly listed to check recent results. Note one relevant listing and its listing time. The presence of older inventory is not evidence that a fresh notification should have arrived today.
If the settings are right but no alerts arrive
Check the test search manually over the next day or two. This is a practical observation window, not eBay's promised delivery schedule. If new matching listings appear while email remains absent, contact eBay through Help & Contact while signed in.
Provide the search terms, active filters, account email, last received alert date, and an example of a new matching listing. Include screenshots of the enabled envelope and relevant preferences. Those details let support investigate a specific delivery problem instead of repeating the same setup instructions.
While waiting for support, bookmark the results page and choose a regular time to check it yourself. Keep the model number and essential filters alongside that bookmark. If you loosen the query temporarily, record what changed so you can restore the intended search later. Manual checking is particularly useful for one specific purchase you are actively planning.
