What does dEssence actually do?
It reads what you save, pulls out the details, and turns it into the next step: a plan, a comparison, a reminder. Then it comes back while you can still do something about it. It does not send, book, or pay on your behalf.
Will it keep pinging me?
No. It messages you when something objective changes: a date gets close, a price moves, a size comes back, a trial is about to charge. Everything else you save just sits there until you ask for it. You can tell it to stop watching anything, at any time.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT?
A chatbot makes you phrase every task yourself, and it cannot take in the sneaker screenshot or the bill sitting in your camera roll. Here you save the thing itself and type nothing. Ask later and dEssence brings the original back as proof.
Do I have to organize or set anything up?
There are no folders, no tags, and nothing to configure. Save one thing and dEssence handles the rest. If you have ever quit an app halfway through onboarding, there is no onboarding here to quit.
Is my data safe? These are my bills and my kids’ stuff.
dEssence only sees what you choose to save, and it uses that to do the job you saved it for. We do not run ads, sell your data, or train models on your content. Export or delete everything whenever you want.
Will I actually use this, or will it end up abandoned like everything else?
Most apps want you to set up a system and then maintain it. This one has nothing to organize. You save when you think of it, and dEssence comes back when it matters. The week you forget about it is the week it still works, because the bill reminder lands either way. If a month in you find you are not using it, delete the account and your data goes with it.
